NATIONAL REBUILDING DAY

True to their commitment to unite volunteers to rehab homes and community facilities and revitalize Dayton communities, Rebuild Together Dayton will be back in Edgemont. Please contact Caroline Brokaw at caroline@rtdayton.org and volunteer as an individual or as a group and help with cleaning and fixing up Edgemont.

Please mark your calendar for Friday, April 12 from 11AM-4PM and join us here at the Solar Garden along with Five Rivers HC, Habitat for Humanity, Fifth-Third Bank, County-Corp, City Wide, City of Dayton, Wright Patt CU, MW Metals Group and many other sponsors and volunteers During this event we will focus on cleaning and restoring the common areas in Edgemont. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!

Please come out and help with this clean-up project in Edgemont. We plan to clear/trim brush and overgrowth, remove trash, tires, and debris, pull weeds, plant flowers, and mulch beds. Tools will be provided and if you call and sign up you will receive a T-shirt.
SOLAR ECLIPSE BLOCK PARTY

A total solar eclipse will take place at the Moon's ascending node on Monday, April 8, 2024, visible across North America. Join us at the Solar Garden at 919 Miami Chapel Rd from
12 – 5 PM.
We will open with our first Farmers Market for 2024. Come and purchase some of our starter plants.There will be some light picnic food available to purchase. If you enjoy bean pies there will be a local supplier there selling her pies.
The eclipse is supposed to last a total 2 minutes and 43 seconds. The start of the partial eclipse will start around 1:53 PM. The total eclipse will start 3:09 PM and end at 3:12 PM and the partial eclipse will end around 4:25 PM. We will have regulated glasses for those who join us. Bring your chair! We hope to see you there!
